The Center for Licensing and Accreditation of Medical Organizations hosted a meeting with a delegation from Apollo Hospitals International (India), led by Y. Subramanyam, Executive Director for International Business. Representatives of the Association of Medical Organizations also took part in the meeting.
During the discussions, the delegation shared its plans to implement telemedicine projects in Uzbekistan and expressed interest in the legal framework governing telemedicine services, as well as the country's current licensing requirements.
Specialists from the Center and the Association provided detailed information on the applicable legal regulations, licensing requirements and procedures for organizing telemedicine activities.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on promising areas of healthcare development, including the advancement of telemedicine.
