Special attention is being paid in our country to improving the quality of healthcare services, introducing modern management mechanisms, and encouraging medical organizations that comply with quality standards.
In this regard, in accordance with the Presidential Resolution of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP–170 dated 5 May 2026 "On Additional Measures to Improve the Quality of Healthcare Services", an additional benefit has been introduced for medical organizations that have obtained national or international accreditation.
In particular, the validity period of the license of a medical organization that has obtained national or international accreditation shall be automatically extended by the licensing authority in accordance with the validity period of the respective national or international accreditation.
This measure will reduce unnecessary administrative procedures related to repeated licensing, save the time and resources of medical organizations, and allow them to focus not on paperwork but on further improving the quality of healthcare services.
Most importantly, such incentives encourage medical organizations to operate in compliance with national and international quality standards, thereby contributing to further improvements in the quality and safety of healthcare services provided to the population.
