During November 2025, the Center for Licensing and Accreditation of Medical Organizations reviewed a total of 396 applications related to initiating medical activity, extending license validity, introducing changes to licensed activity, and terminating activity.
All procedures were carried out in strict accordance with current regulatory requirements and based on transparent electronic systems. In particular, 124 private medical institutions were granted licenses (permits) to begin their operations.
Regions with the highest number of newly licensed clinics last month:
Tashkent city – 28
Andijan region – 19
Kashkadarya region – 16
Fergana region – 12
Additionally:
Tashkent, Namangan, and Khorezm regions – 7 each
Samarkand region – 6
Navoi region – 5
Bukhara and Syrdarya regions – 4 each
Jizzakh, Surkhandarya regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan – 3 each received licenses to begin medical activity.
For reference: Currently, nearly 9,000 private medical institutions operate across the country.
